§ Colonel YATEasked the Secretary of State for India whether he will consider 592W the question of granting some temporary alleviation, which might be made to depend on the cost of living, to the distressed widows and dependants in receipt of small pensions from the various Indian families, pension funds, civil and military, pending the result of his consultation with the Government of India on the subject, of dealing with pensions generally on the lines of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1920?
