REESasked the President of the Board of Education whether, if all the ex-officers now receiving education at the taxpayers' expense at universities and colleges, under the scheme for the higher education of ex-service students, complete their courses, the total cost will be £8,500,000, or whether that sum will be reduced by the Estimate made for the ex-officers who have not taken up or, having take a up, have relinquished their awards?
