GREENWOODThe value of the property maliciously destroyed in Ireland since the 1st July, 1920, cannot be known until the various claims for compensation under the Criminal Injuries Act have been heard and decided. In the majority of the cases in which servants of the Crown are alleged to have been concerned no award of compensation under the Act has yet been made and I have no material on which to base an estimate.
