§ Mr. FISHER (for Mr. Montagu)Last August the Government of India informed me that no regulations existed or were contemplated to the effect that soldiers called out in aid of the civil power in India were not to be supplied with ball ammunition. I have no reason to suppose that any such instructions or any intimations to the same effect have since been issued or made.
