HC Deb 06 May 1920 vol 128 c2262W
Captain TERRELL

asked the Minister of Transport if his attention has been drawn to the widespread complaints regarding the excessive time occupied in the moving of cattle on rail and the consequent financial loss involved; and what steps he proposes to take to remedy the grievance?

Mr. NEAL

Certain cases of delay in transit to live stock have been brought to my notice, and they are being investigated. As a result of these complaints, the special attention of all the railway companies has been drawn to this question with a view to live stock being transported as expeditiously as possible.
