HC Deb 04 May 1920 vol 128 c1905W
Mr. R. YOUNG

asked the Secretary of State for War and Air whether he will state what number of officer patients were in Eaton Hall, Chester, at the end of January, February, and March, respectively; and whether there is any early intention that Eaton Hall shall be vacated and the patients transferred elsewhere?

Mr. CHURCHILL

The figures asked for in the first part of the question are: January 119, February 75, and March 113. Eaton Hall is the only remaining hospital for convalescent officers, but steps are being taken to transfer the patients, and it is hoped that the Hall will be vacated in the course of the next two or three weeks.
