HC Deb 03 May 1920 vol 128 c1727W
Sir L. HARMSWORTH

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether he is aware that his statement that seed corn is to be procured at prices considerably below £5 per quarter is being generally disputed; whether he will take steps to cause a more adequate appreciation of the facts of the matter being brought to his notice; and, if he finds reason to revise his statement, will he consider whether he can influence steps by which crofters can secure seed corn at something like the price he mentions as possible?

Mr. MUNRO

I have caused further inquiry to be made, and understand that there is no reason to doubt the accuracy of the information given in my reply of the 2nd March.
