§ Mr. CLOUGHasked the Prime Minister whether the Government intend this Session to introduce a new Workmen's Compensation Bill; and when, in that case, it may be expected?
§ The PRIME MINISTERAs my hon. Friend is aware, a Departmental Committee, appointed by the Home Secretary, has been enquiring into the working of the Workmen's Compensation Acts, and any amending legislation on this subject 1099W must await the Report of the Committee. The Committee are nearing the end of their inquiry, and as soon as their Report is received, the question of introducing a Bill will be considered.
