§ Mr. PARKERThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. If definite particulars can be furnished of any cases where, since the recent increase in the price of sugar, shopkeepers have offered an extra supply to persons who had previously been unable to obtain the ration, the matter will immediately be investigated. It is not considered necessary to institute a general inquiry such as that suggested in the second part of the question.
