§ Mr. GWYNNEasked the Pensions Minister whether a decision has yet been reached in regard to the better provision of special clothing and bedding for ex-Service men suffering with tuberculosis; and, if so, what are the concessions?
§ Sir J. CRAIGUnder the present Regulations of the Ministry, underclothing and greatcoats are provided on loan for the use of men in sanatoria and other institutions, and greatcoats for the use, where necessary, of men under out-patient treatment or treatment at home. Extra blankets are also provided by local committees for men suffering from tuberculosis who are under open-air treatment at home, and for whom such extra blankets are certified to be necessary. The arrangements under which these articles are provided appear to be working satisfactorily, but if my hon. Friend has information to the contrary, my right hon. Friend will be glad to consider it.
