§ Dr. MACNAMARAOrders were given in August, 1919, that the custom of allowing engine-room artificers to mess by themselves was to be reverted to. There may, however, still be a few cases in which it has not been practicable to relieve mechanicians drafted in place of engine-room artificers during the War.
