HARMSWORTHasked the Secretary for Scotland if the mail contractor making use of the Durness-Lexford Road, Sutherland, has felt himself compelled to issue a notice that, owing to the dangerous condition of the road, he cannot be responsible for accidents involving injury to or loss of life or damage to goods; and whether he can see his way to make representations to the Road Board to make a special grant for placing this road in a permanently sound condition?
