Colonel L. WARDasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Munitions if there is any channel through which disabled or demobilised officers and men can obtain surplus stores from the Disposals Board on more favourable terms than those given to ordinary traders?
§ Mr. KELLAWAYAs I have already stated on previous occasions, the Disposal Board are unable to offer preferential terms to individuals in the purchase of surplus Government property, but arrangements can be, and have in fact been, made for the sale of stores to approved organisations acting in the interests of ex-service men, for the purpose of re-sale to their members.
