§ Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKEasked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he will consider the possibility of allowing naval schoolmasters to receive the pay of the rank they hold, seeing that while they enter with warrant rank their position in this respect is analagous to that of instructor lieutenants and surgeon lieutenants who enter with the rank of lieutenant, Royal Navy, and receive the pay of that rank on entry, although they do not serve successively as cadet, midshipman, and sub-lieutenant as do other officers?
§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe matter is already under consideration.
