§ Mr. WIGNALLasked the Home Secretary whether at the Littledean, Gloucestershire, Petty Sessions, two boys, George Sargent, aged 9, and Reginald Brown, aged 10, were committed to the Cardiff Industrial School for four years for setting fire to a rick of hay whilst playing at a game called Satan; whether a school attendance officer who gave evidence said that the boys were well conducted and attended school most regularly; and whether, in view of the feeling of those resident in the locality with regard to this sentence, he will take steps to order the immediate release of these boys?
