Major HENDERSONasked the Secretary for Scotland whether the Minister for Health has issued a communication to local authorities in England urging upon them the advisability of increasing the salaries of Poor Law officers in terms of the increase awarded to the Civil Service; and whether he is prepared to take similar action in regard to Scotland?
