asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he can give any figures as to the development of trade between the United States and Cuba since preferential trade was established between the two countries; and what are the corresponding figures of British trade with Cuba?

Sir R. HORNE:

The following statement, which has been compiled from Cuban official trade returns, gives particulars of the trade of Cuba with (a) All Countries, (b) the United States, and (c) the United Kingdom, during the periods specified. The existing reciprocity Treaty between Cuba and the United States came into force on 17th December, 1903:
