§ Mr. BALDWINI am now in process of compiling a return of the total expenditure by Government Departments on stationery and printing during the last financial year (1919–20), which I hope shortly to be in a position to complete. To dissect this return, and then to prepare figures relating to the last 6 months, would involve a diversion of the energies of my staff at a cost in labour and money which I do not regard as justifiable.
