§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe decision to abolish the rank of brigadier-general has not been modified, but no date has yet been fixed for bringing it into effect. The future rank and status of officers now holding the rank of brigadier-general are still under consideration. Officers who hold this rank will only continue to do so until its abolition is carried into effect.
