Mr. PALMERasked the Secretary of State for War why the assistant provost marshal for the Wrekin Division refuses to accede to the wish of the workers in the county in favour of extending the hours for the closing of licensed premises until 10 o'clock; and whether, if the 2197W matter is within his competency, he will have inquiries made with a view to meeting the convenience of the working classes in the county of Shropshire?
