Major D. DAVIESasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that Captain E. A. Evans, late 38th Field Company, Royal Engineers, who was severely wounded at Bois Grenier on the 21st October, 1914, has been refused the award of a clasp to the 1914 Star because he has been unable to find any officer or non-commissioned officer who has been awarded the clasp and also was present with him when wounded; and if he will inquire into the matter?
