§ Mr. LUNNasked the Prime Minister whether pending the ratification of the Turkish Treaty navigation in the Straits will be regulated in accordance with the terms of that Treaty so far as ships proceeding to Russian ports are concerned?
§ The PRIME MINISTERIn the ordinary course, it is not contemplated, so far as ships proceeding to Russian ports are concerned, to put into force the regimé of the Straits provided for in the Turkish Treaty until after the exchange of ratifications of that Treaty. In the meantime, such navigation is effected under the supervision of the Allied occupying Powers resulting from the Turkish Armistice of 30th October, 1918.
