§ Captain W. BENNasked the Secretary for Scotland whether the Craiglockhart Hydropathic, Slateford, has been sold; whether it was used by military officers from 1916 to 1919, and is at present in use by many military officers and others, who cannot find accommodation elsewhere; and what steps he proposes to take?
§ Mr. MUNROI understand that the Craiglockhart Hydropathic Establishment was closed as a military hospital on the 1st March, 1919, and has since that date been used for its ordinary purposes. I am informed that it has now been sold. There are at present, I believe, some 70 to 80 persons, including two military officers, residing as ordinary hotel guests. I am not aware that I have any power to take action in the matter.
