HOLBROOKasked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been directed to the reports from many parts of Ireland of the conditions under which ex-service men are living, the persecution under which they are suffering, and the danger to their wives and families; and whether he can give any assurance that immediate steps will be taken to give protection to those men?
§ Mr. HENRYI would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the replies given to similar questions on this subject on the 19th ultimo. The Government are doing everything in their power to deal with the situation.
