§ Colonel LESLIE WILSON(for Lieut.-Colonel Amery): I assume that the hon. Member refers to the non-European Government employés in East Africa. The question of their position under the new East African currency arrangements is still under consideration with the Governments concerned. I may point out, however, that there is now little difference between the value of the rupee in East Africa and India.
