§ Mr. McCURDYI am not aware of the particular offer referred to, but Argen- 235W tine butter has in fact been purchased by my Department at a price somewhat lower than that quoted in the question. With regard to the latter part of the question, the practice of the Ministry of Food is to pool all purchases of butter and to sell them at a flat retail price based upon the average cost of supplies.
