§ Mr. MONTAGUThe Army Order conveying His Majesty's approval to the grant of the India General Service Medal, 1908, with a clasp inscribed, "Afghanistan, North-West Frontier, 1919," to the troops taking part in the operations against Afghanistan in 1919, is, I understand, about to be issued, if it has not already appeared. The operations in Waziristan being still in progress, the question of a medal has not yet been considered. The last part of the question, regarding the Victory Medal, should be addressed to the Secretary of State for War.
