§ Mr. CHARLES EDWARDSasked the Minister of Pensions if he is aware that Joseph Price, of Pentllanfraith, Monmouthshire, had his pension raised from 19s. per week to 21s. 10d. per week, and that when this was done his old age pension was reduced by 2s. per week, thus reducing the amount on which he and his wife had to live from 31s. 10d. to 29s. 10d. per week; that these people, who are 80 and 70 years of age, respectively, had two sons killed in the War, and consequently have nothing but their pensions to live upon; and will he consider raising their pension above the 21s. 9d. per week?
