§ Mr. BALDWINSince the 1st April last (the date of the return from which my hon. Friend's figures are taken) the systematic substitution of ex-service men for women on the temporary staff of the inland Revenue Department has been proceeding. The total number of ex-service men on the temporary staff of the Department on the 1st instant was 2,080, of whom 682 were disabled men.
