HC Deb 08 July 1920 vol 131 cc1671-2W

Mr. A. HERBERT asked the Prime Minister why, if Rahmi Bey was specially thanked by His Majesty's Government for his kindness to British subjects during the War, he is still imprisoned, 18 months after the Armistice; and whether it is possible to translate the official thanks of His Majesty's Government into deeds?

Mr. HARMSWORTH: I have nothing to add to the statement which I made on 6th July, in reply to a similar question.
