HC Deb 08 July 1920 vol 131 cc1694-5W

Mr. SITCH asked the Minister of Transport if his attention has been called to the great dissatisfaction prevailing among the inhabitants of the district at the continued closure of the passenger station at Round Oak, Staffordshire, on Sundays, and also at the exiguous railway travelling facilities on that day in the Brierley Hill area; whether he is aware that representations made to the Great Western Railway Company by the local authority have failed to secure any improvement in the matter; and can he see his way to inquire into the same with the view to meeting the needs of the inhabitants in the district concerned?

Mr. NEAL: The matters referred to have not been brought to my notice; but I am having inquiry made, and the hon. Member shall be informed of the result.
