HC Deb 08 July 1920 vol 131 cc1679-80W

Captain BAGLEY asked the Minister of Pensions whether any decision has yet been reached in regard to the issue of pensions and allowances for warrant telegraphists of the Royal Naval Reserve who were employed by the Admiralty for War service whilst serving under merchant ships' articles?

Mr. MACPHERSON: The status of the telegraphists in question is not quite clear, but if they were in receipt of naval pay they would be eligible for pension under the Order in Council obtained last year by the Ministry of Pensions.
