HC Deb 07 July 1920 vol 131 cc1458-9W
Sir A. WARREN

asked the Minister of Pensions if in the War Pensions Bill now before Parliament he will take steps to have definitely stated the precise administrative reforms contemplated under Clause 4 (1), and that such powers be defined as in Section 2 (1) of The War Pensions (Administrative Provisions) Act, 1918?

Major TRYON

I would remind my hon. and gallant Friend that the scope of Clause 4 (1) of the Bill is limited in terms to the purposes already defined in Section 2 (1) of the War Pensions (Administrative Provisions) Act, 1918, and no further definition is therefore required.
