WHITE asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will arrange that public notices shall be exhibited in 1263W all banks and post offices with reference to the calling in of all currency notes of the first and second issues, or in some other way notify the public, especially those living in remote country districts, of the intention of the Treasury?
§ Mr. CHAMBERLAIN: Yes, Sir. I will ask the Postmaster-General and the banks to exhibit such notices.
