BLAKE asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture whether he can give the number of persons against whom proceedings have been taken in courts of summary jurisdiction under Clause 15 (3) of the Corn Production Act, 1917; and in how many cases were such persons fined or imprisoned?
§ Sir A. BOSCAWEN: Two persons have been prosecuted under Clause 15 (3) of the Corn Production Act, 1917, for failure to make agricultural returns, and in both cases fines were imposed.
