§ Sir E. HUME-WILLIAMSasked the Attorney-General whether the Lord Chancellor's Committee which is dealing with the suggested increase of salary to the clerks and officers of the County Courts has yet made its Report; and, if so, what increase in the salary of these gentlemen is contemplated?
§ Sir G. HEWARTThe Committee appointed by the Lord Chancellor, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Justice Swift, has not yet reported, but it is hoped that its Report will be received at an early date. The Committee is dealing with other matters in addition to any question as to the amount of the salaries of the clerks and officers of the County Courts.
