Lieut.-Colonel MALONEasked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that police entered the offices of the New Catholic Press, 8, Bouverie Street, on 9th and 10th January; whether he is aware that all the copies of the "New Catholic Herald" of 10th January were taken away, and subsequently returned; that verbal instructions were issued by the inspector forbidding the sale of any copies of that paper; whether he is aware that the inspector had no warrant authorising this action; if he will state by whose authority this action was taken; and for what purpose?
