§ Colonel Wedgwoodasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether he is aware that, in consequence of the Kensington Allotments Association seceding from the Agricultural Organisation Society and becoming affiliated to the National Union of Allotment Holders, two members of the Committee have resigned, and have made, without the authority of the Association, application to the Registrar of Friendly Societies for registration of the Association under the model rules of the Agricultural Organisation Society: whether a protest has been made to the Ministry of Agriculture against action, directly or indirectly, by the Agricultural Organisation Society which will lead to confusion in the organised allotment movement in this district and may mean the breaking up of the present Association, which, as originally formed, has the support of the great majority of the allotment holders; and whether he will take steps to prevent the Agricultural Organisation Society using its State subsidy in such a manner against the National Union of Allotment Holders, which is a self-supporting body?
Sir A. BOSCAWENI am having inquiries made into the circumstances referred to in the Question, and as soon as these are completed will communicate with the hon. Member on the subject.
