§ Sir R. HORNEThe number of employers whose names had been inscribed on the King's National Roll up to the 14th February, was 10,867. These firms represented 1,755,431 workpeople, of whom 98,186 were disabled ex-service men. The approaching issue of the first edition of the King's National Roll will afford an opportunity, of which I propose to take advantage, for bringing the scheme prominently before employers and the public generally, and I trust that this will have the desired effect in promoting its adoption. I need hardly add that any assistance which hon. Members can give by enlisting the support of employers or others in their constituencies will be of the utmost value.
