§ Mr. R. McNEILLasked the Minister of Transport whether any representative of rural district councils is included on the Roads Advisory Committee; and, if not, whether, in view of the fact that the rural district councils are responsible for the maintenance of nearly 100,000 miles of roads throughout the country, he will appoint to the Advisory Committee a representative of such councils?
§ Mr. NEALI would refer my hon. Friend to the answer given to the hon. Member for Sevenoaks on February 12th, in which I stated that a representative of the rural district councils would be appointed on the Roads Advisory Committee.
