§ Mr. McCURDYThe Food Controller has no information with regard to the tonnage of wheat discharged in this manner before 1917. Information as regards the years 1917–19 could be obtained from the millers, but the labour required to compile the necessary statement would seem to be altogether incommensurate with the advantage to be gained from its publication.
