§ Mr. RAMSDENasked the Secretary of State for War whether he can now make a definite statement as to whether it is the intention of the Government to recognise, by issuing a medal, all those officers and men who, through no fault of their own, served at Home on various duties connected with the War, and so far have received no recognition?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLI regret I cannot at present say when it will be possible to make an announcement on this subject. As, however, it will take nearly four years to issue the war medals and clasps to those who actually served at the Front, the matter cannot be regarded as urgent.
