§ Mr. A. SHORTasked the Secretary of State for War (1) whether he can state the total number of the Army stationed or engaged in operations in territories outside of the British Empire;
(2) whether he can state without injury the number in each particular case of His Majesty's Army stationed or operating in the various territories outside of the British Empire; and also the estimated cost?
§ Sir A. WILLIAMSONI would refer the hon. Member to the replies given on 30th November last to questions put by 2445W the hon. Members for Wood Green (Mr. G. Locker-Lampson) and Central Hull (Lieut.-Commander Kenworthy). The only change in the numbers then given is that caused by the withdrawal of the troops from Danzig.
