Sir A. BOSCAWENThe amount of tithe rent charge redeemed since the passing of the Tithe Act, 1918, is £40,000. Many cases arc on the point of completion, and it is anticipated that by the end of this year the total will be increased to at least £60,000. Just recently there has been an enormous increase in the number of applications, but these new cases cannot be completed before next year.
