§ Mr. MUNROIt is in contemplation to issue a statement showing the results of polls, and, if there is any general desire that the statement should include information as to the cost falling upon local authorities, I should be prepared to give favourable consideration to the suggestion. As I have indicated, the cost of operating the Act falls upon local rates.
