§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONThe re-exportation of American tinned fruits is at present allowed under licence within a maximum quantity per month, which for some time has not been reached. This restriction will be removed altogether at an early date. With regard to American and Canadian red salmon, an arrangement has been made with representatives of the importers under which facilities are provided for the re-export of red salmon purchased for that purpose, and this arrangement is working satisfactorily.
