§ Sir A. WILLIAMSONThis house was requisitioned in January, 1917, under the powers contained in the Defence of the Realm Acts. It was used as a Detention Hospital until 3rd July, 1919, and is at present used as quarters for the quartermaster of the 2nd Battalion, Scots Guards. With regard to the last part of the question, I am afraid the house will be required by the military authorities as long as the Scots Guards remain at Wimbledon.
