§ Mr. PARKERThe approximate cost of providing a sand pit would be £500, and £150 per annum for upkeep. This is exclusive of the cost of the provision of lavatory accommodation and attendant, which is essential where a large number of children congregate. Hyde Park is not so frequented by 445W children as the other parks. I regret, therefore, that I am unable to reconsider my decision.
