HC Deb 29 April 1920 vol 128 c1435W
Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

asked the Secretary of State for War and Air whether he is aware that three sergeants from British cavalry regiments with some years' service in India, transferred to the Air Force in India in 1917 as aerial gunners, were subsequently made disciplinary sergeant-majors; whether this was later withdrawn; and whether these men will now be properly promoted or allowed to return to their own regiments?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I must ask my hon. Friend to furnish me with the names and regimental numbers of the three sergeants. If he will do this, I will have the grievances inquired into, and will inform him of the result.
