§ Mr. McCURDYI am glad to have this opportunity of supplementing and correcting a reply which I gave to a supplementary question on the 20th instant, arising out of a question put to me by the hon. and gallant Member for Kingston-upon-Hull (Lieut.-Commander Kenworthy). I am informed by the Ministry of Transport that insulated vans could, if required, be provided for the carriage of about 1,000 tons of frozen meat 1445W per day in addition to the average amount which is now being distributed, and that lack of transport facilities is in no way hampering the distribution of meat.
